I had some friends over for drinks today to toast our friend Elaine visit. This was stopover on our way to the inauguration.
With the exception of one person, all of us met at grad school. I have to say that even after all these years we are pretty close and keep in touch. None have changed much since then except we are little older.
There is nothing more fun that getting together for drinks, great food and laughs. One of the negatives of living in a “toy” house (Elaine’s term) is that I can’t really invite too many people over at one time.
