Walking around Soho, I ran across this homage to Stphen Colbert, famed “conservative” talk show host of The Colbert Report on Wooster and Houston Street. The Colbert soup can is obviously inspired by Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell Soup can artwork. I noticed it immediately but it took me a moment to notice Stephen Colbert’s face sticking out. Have not idea who the artist is but just thought it was hilarious!!

You have a good eye to catch this one!
OMG! Too funny π
Haha, what a great find. I love living in a city because you can come across things like this. For example, a few years ago in Minneapolis you could randomly find stickers of Sinbad’s face. It always made me laugh because Sinbad has not done anything since the mid-90’s yet it was 2009 0r 2010 and his face was everywhere.
Thanks for linking up with me.

I love checking out your WW posts. Seeing random art throughout your everyday travels is the one thing I miss most about living in a large city. (Around here, the artist would have been tracked down, arrested, fined, and forced to do community service!)
I didn’t notice the face either. I’ve never seen anything like that on a mailbox.
Super post! ANything Colbert will do (LOL)
