Disney Parks recently held its Disney Social Media Celebration “On-the-Road” New York conference event for bloggers and social media influencers. My daughter and I are big Disney World fans have been 7 times, yes, 7 times to the Happiest Place on Earth so I was interested to see what was new.

WHAT’S NEW AND FUN COMING TO DISNEYPARKS AND ALL THEIR PROPERTIES

Disney Skyliner

Disney Skyliner system consisting of 55 Disney-themed gondolas will transport guests at Walt Disney World Resort later this fall. Can you imagine riding one of these gondolas? Too cool.

 

Adventures By Disney

  • Adventures By Disney will be offering 10 day guided trips in Egypt in 2020.

Epcot in 2021

  • Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster will be coming in 2021.
  • Ratatouille will be coming to  Epcot Paris

SEO TIPS from Kristyn Merkley

Now this section is for bloggers and was helpful for me to learn from someone who has mastered SEO given that here site receives millions of visitors a month.

  • Blog Post Tips
    • Headings – H1 Post Titles; H2 Sub topics; H3 more relevant topics
    • Short paragraphs
    • Pictures (horizontal)
    • Recipe Card
    • List/bullet points
    • More relevant content
    • Build a website within a website 0- link to 3-5 posts
    • Fill out YOAST plug-in
    • Answer the question – have so much info they want to bookmark or pin it
  • Use SEMrush, a premium keyword, and competitors research tool. With SEMrush, you can to see how your site and keywords are ranking, find out about competitors popular posts (who knew!) It is a tool that many SEO experts. It is not cheap (the lowest monthly plan starts at $99.95 a month) though so if you have a site that is truly making money or have someone who has the time to do all the analytical and research work, then it is worthwhile in my opinion.
  • Free keyword research tools – Google Analytics and Google Search Console. These are two research tools I use but frankly, I don’t use them enough so I am going to spend more time doing more research and analysis to see if it makes a difference.
