If you are like me you charge your phone every night? Right. But how often do you back up your phone? If you are like me and the vast majority of people, you don’t back up your iPhone on a regular basis. I learned this fun fact at a Techlicious Event hosted by SanDisk.
With the Sandisk iXpand Base, you can now back up your phone while your phone charges! That’s right, you will be doing both all at the same time. Sweet!!!
A device that does both at the same time plus a device that is easy to set up. What more could I ask for, seriously.
These are the instructions!! There are three easy to follow illustrations (don’t you love instructions that are pictures??!!)
- Plug the Sandisk iXpand Base into the wall.
- Plug your Apple lighting cable into the base
- Plug in your phone.
- Actually there are four steps, you need to download the app first.
And Voila! That’s it. The Sandisk iXpand Base automatically backs up your photos, videos and contacts every time you charge.
What a game changer for me. Now I don’t have to worry about losing my thousands of photos and videos, it’s all backed up on a regular basis. And the Sandisk iXpand Base is a perfect design (small and unobtrusive) so I can just place it next to my bed.
