Please Touch Museum – The Children’s Museum of Philadelphia

May 29, 2012 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Travel

Want to keep your kids occupied for hours on your visit to Philadelphia, then a visit to the Please Touch Museum is a must see stop.

The Please Touch Museum is housed in Fairmount Park’s Memorial Hall. For adults, you will be amazed at the architecture of Memorial Hall and that there is even a children’s museum inside. Your kids will be wowed by the six interactive exhibit zones spread out over  38,000 square feet and you  will be both wowed by the beautifully, restored 100-year-old carousel, truly stunning.

As you enter Hamilton Hall, you will encounter  a stunning space crowned by a soaring dome and life-sized, 40-foot replica of  Leo Sewell’s Statue of Liberty’s Arm and Torch. What is unique about the sculpture  is that is made out of toys and games. Too cool!

There is so much to do from play and pretend amid Alice’s Wonderland, race sailboats and blow bubbles in River Adventures, row a flying machine in  Flight Fantasy, and so much more. Check the daily schedule when you arrive for show, character appearances and story times.

Provide a list of individuals or organizations that are not directly affiliated to the agency
which can aid you with your adoption, along with the costs of those services.
Try to think of what areas in your neighborhood could use a
little bit of sprucing up – As you try to decide what services are needed, you can actively advertise and promote it to try to get others involved.
At this great number, hundreds of thousands of prospective adoptive parents are still thinking of adopting a child.
