Parent Teacher Conference Follow Up – Link to Great Article

October 27, 2009 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Single Mom Daily Life

Thanks to one of my readers Natalia D. for this helpful link from Parenthood.com on getting ready for my Parent -Teacher Conference next week.
A lot of information and follow up, I did not think of do next like engaging my daughter before and after the conference. Good stuff. Parenting is hard work, isn’t it?

today is a particularly hard day to be a parent. the television is filled with stories about the 15 year old girl in california who was gang raped for 2.5 hours at her high school homecoming dance. if you flip the channel you hear about the 52 children rescued from a child prostitution ring where almost 700 adults were arrested.

how do you feel safe letting your daughter go to school and find her way?
