I love my life in New York City and of course, my daughter but if not for my best friends, it would be pretty dull and ordinary. Two of the women in photo I met at business school and we all ended up in New York, have seen some fun times(the Four Seasons for Wednesday Martinis), scary times (9/11) and joyful times (my daughter). They are now my daughter’s godmothers. Over the years, we have treated each other to fabulous dinners and lunches and they have all been delights not only for the delicious meals we have had but the company.
Here we are at one of our truly delightful meals at Picholine (highly recommend it). So here’s to great friends, who love you know matter what.
This is part of Project Alicia and live and love out loud Summer Photo Challenge. Head over to their sites and check out their photos, link up, make some new friends or check out some new blogs.

Beautiful picture and lovely sentiment.
I heart NYC. Never lived there, but have visited many times! Every time I leave it makes me a little sad!
There is nothing like girlfriends!!! 🙂
Hi Linda! My name is also Linda & I live in NYC as well 🙂 I’m visiting from Things I Can’t Say. It looks like you’ve been having a fun summer! How has the summer been in NYC? I’ve been in DC for the summer, but I come back on Tuesday.
What a great picture! Sounds like you’re all so lucky to have one another!
And you think I don’t read….
How nice that you have such amazing girl friends to spend time with. I haven’t made any close friends since our move to Missouri last year, but I’m hopeful that I’ll make a few eventually. 🙂
Thanks for joining Alicia and me in the Crazy Days of Summer Photo Challenge. I hope you’ll join us again on Friday when we move on to our new theme, blue skies. Have a great day.
