It never occurred to me that my daughter would want to go to baseball game but at the beginning of the summer she mentioned that she wanted to go. And lo and behold, we were offered tickets to watch the New York Mets play at Citi Field.
The day we went to see the Mets play the Arizona Diamondbacks, it was not the best of weather. We had to wait for two hours before the game start. I was more than happy to pack it in but my daughter had a determined look about her so we stayed. Not only did she have a great time, it turned out to be day that there fireworks. All in all, it was a great first baseball game (and I had a good time, too.)
