Where have you discovered community, online or otherwise, in 2010?
I started blogging last year with absolutely no expectations other from a completely professional perspective. As marketing professional, blogging, Facebook, Twitter, Mashable, StumbleUpon, etc…. were all concepts and not very real to me.
It never occurred to me that there was actually a community behind blogging. Wow was I wrong. It was until this year that I truly began to meet mom bloggers throughout the tri-state area and beyond. Not that I am surprised but it is an incredible community of smart, capable and accomplished women not defined by the “mom blogger” title. I have established relationships and friendships that I would have never began without my blog.
What community would you like to join, create or more deeply connect with in 2011?
I don’t exactly want to join any communities next year. My goal is to connect deeply with my blogger friends and continue to grow within the community. I would also like to become more involved at the blog conference level. I haven’t exactly what that means but hey tommorrow’s another day.
