Columbus Circle and Central Park From Above

July 15, 2014 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Single Mom Daily Life, Wordless Wednesday

If you happen to visit Columbus Circle, you will be amazed at all the activities in the neighborhood. First,  Columbus Circle is officially just a traffic circle with the statue of Columbus by Gaetano Russo in the middle. Bu there is much happening at that circle. You will find the Shops at Columbus Circle, CNN headquarters, Time Warner  headquarters, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Mandarin Oriental. The entrance to the Central Park through the Merchant’s Gate is located on the northeast side of the circle. And of course, if you head up north, you can wander up Central Park West that houses some of the swankiest addresses in the city.

As a New Yorker, you always get the pedestrian’s view of life and the buildings which is why I loved seeing Columbus Circle from the windows of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Hi, and thank you for sharing at Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) at In Him We Live and Move and Have Our Being. I wanted to let you know that I’m transitioning to a new site – http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com – which will have a photography focus. Currently there are two pages. One is where I will host Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) each week at midnight on Tuesday, Eastern Standard Time. The second is a place for you to link up your main blog url if you host a weekly Wordless linkup. Eventually I hope to include some photography how-to’s and resources. If you have any suggestions of content you’d be interested in, please email me at image.in.ing at gmail dot com.
Thanks, and I hope to see you there!
    Sue
