Live Butterflies return to the New York  American Natural History Museum located on the Upper West Side.  This is an annual favorite exhibit of visitors to the museum. Who wouldn’t be excited by the spectacle of hundreds of live tropical butterflies? Seeing live butterflies is the perfect antidote to the Winter chill.

The Butterfly Conservatory houses up to 500 iridescent butterflies that hover above visitors in a 1,200-square-foot vivarium filled with lush foliage and blooming tropical flowers. Delighted children and adults wander in the conservatory amid these magical winged creatures. And if you are lucky, one will land on you!! That is the jackpot of cool activities.

The Butterfly Conservatory  runs through Monday, May 29, 2017.

Visit Butterfly Conservatory  for more information and admission tickets.
