REVIEW: Avengers Endgame Hits All The Right Notes (Sorry NO SPOILERS) #AvengersEndgame @marvelstudios

April 24, 2019 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Entertainment, Movies

"avengers endgame"

Without a doubt, Avengers: Endgame will prove to be the highest grossest movie of the year if not of all the Avengers movies. Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of the 11 years of Marvel movies that started with Iron Man in 2008. Hard to believe but here we are?

If you recall, Avengers: Endgame begins after  Thanos (Josh Brolin)  wiped out half the universe including numerous Avengers in Avengers: Infinity Wars. The remaining Avengers (Black Widow, The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hawkeye) come together to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion in “Avengers: Endgame.”

Avengers Endgame at 3 hours and yes, they need all 3 hours. Because I am going to adhere to Directors Anthony and Joe Russo plea to early moviegoers not spoil the movie, this review contains no spoilers because I am going to state upfront, I recommend this movie highly and want you to experience it in all its glory.

6 Reasons to See Avengers Endgame and Why You Will Find It Totally Enjoyable

  1. The opening scene announces very starkly and with a jolt where Avengers Infinity Wars ended.
  2. Twists and Turns that are completely unexpected.
  3. Comic Relief – Avengers still can joke around and maybe it’s a spoiler but thanks to the writers for the Rocket Racoon. That said there are other characters who are just as funny.
  4. Emotional rollercoaster – Hard to believe that an action movie with superheroes could exact tears but it will and if you don’t cry or get teary-eyed at least once, you have no heart.
  5. It’s a good story that incorporates just the right amount of action,  battle scenes, character development, and emotion to wrap up the storyline that started in 2008.
  6. Stan Lee as he has done in every Marvel movie makes as always a hilarious and perfectly “cast” appearance. As he does in every movie, the audience erupted with cheers with his appearance.  Rest in Peace Stan Lee.

I do have a few qualms about characters that should have been given more screen time but again NO SPOILERS. I will come back an amend this after a couple of weeks!

Do I recommend this movie? YES SEE THIS MOVIE. I PLAN TO SEE AGAIN!!
