While at the Disney’s Social Media Moms Conference (#Disneysmmoms), I had the pleasure of previewing the newest Disney World property, Art of Animation Resort. The family suites at the resort are designed after Disney movie favorites, Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid.
I actually had the opportunity to check out the Finding Nemo family suites which are designed to accommodate up to 6 Guests, includes 2 separate bathrooms, a master bedroom, 3 separate sleeping areas within the living space, that has dining table that easily transforms into a comfortable bed. The family suites are just adorable and definitely a good size for families.
Of course, the resort would not be complete with out a pool area, which was spectacular. Not only is the pool, great for parents and kids but also includes a sprinkler playground and a maze climbing- type playground. That is where my daughter spent most of her time getting drenched in the sprinklers then running throughout the playground.
What is neat about the resort is the surround sound Animation theme from the outside of the resort to the check-in area where there are sketches from all the Disney movies lined up on the walls to the the very colorfully decorated scenes on the buildings.
This is truly, a unique resort designed for families and lovers of the Finding Nemo, Cars, Lion King and Little Mermaid movies. The Art of Animation Resort is considered a Disney Value resort, visit disneyworld.disney.go.com to learn about the opening dates for the other themed suites. This is definitely worth considering on your next trip to Disney World.
