Looking for a quick and easy pasta dish, this angel hair pasta takes no time to make and uses ingredients that you will likely have in your fridge. I added asparagus to the mix because it was at the farmer’s market.
In today’s recipe, instead of chopped tomatoes, I already had cherry tomatoes on hand and used them instead of chopped tomatoes.
Because the base is just lemon, garlic, and wine, added vegetables to your taste.

Angel Hair Pasta with Lemon and Garlic

Quick and Easy Angel Hair pasta recipe using lemon and garlic with added tomato and asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 8 oz. angel hair pasta
- 2 tbs freshly grated parmesan cheese
- asparagus
- freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring water to boil.
- Heat olive oil into saute pan, add garlic, and cook until brown.
- Remove pan from heat and add wine.
- Return to heat and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the wine has been reduced by half.
- Add lemon juice and tomatoes.
- Remove from heat.
- Cook pasta based on package time. Angel Hair pasta is pretty quick to cook and usually takes 3-4 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and place into a serving bowl. Save 1 cup of pasta water.
- Add parmesan cheese and black pepper to taste, tomato mixture to pasta and mix well.
- Serve with a side salad and garlic bread.
