Yesterday, I went to Midtown Loft & Terrace (great view from the Terrace of the Empire State Building) in celebration of National Hammocks Day Even to announce the nationwide campaign in support of Childhelp, a national organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect.
Kathie Lee Gifford has joined forces with Hayneedle.com, an online furnishings retailer. In the spirit of reducing stress in among families and promoting peaceful parenting, a portion of every hammock sold via Hayneedle.com will be donated to Childhelp.
It was definitely a fun event with the topper of my forthcoming interview with Kathie Lee Gifford, who was gracious, entertaining and fun. And looks pretty fab in person.
