ProjectAlicia.com, one of my favorite blogs has a blog hop meme, Crazy Days of Summer Photo Challenge. Today’s theme is flowers. One of my many goals is to become a better photographer and try to use more interesting techniques that enhance photos.
This photo of a bed of tulips was taken at the Pulitzer Fountain outside of the Plaza Hotel. I should remember what enhancement I used but I forgot. Oh well, next week.
Oh my goodness, this photo is really breathtaking. Nice job! Makes me so excited to upgrade my lil’ Canon Powershoot (one of these days).
I love this – it’s gorgeous!
This was at a hotel? How exquisite. And lucky!Unfortunately I didn’t see many tulips this year and they are one of my favs. Thanks so much for linking it up to our crazy days of summer!
Love the challenge
love this picture
love the colors… and the layout…
amazing
How lovely. New York is a great place to take pictures. Have a great weekend.
PS
I always forget the enhancements that I use too.
Love this! The colors are so striking.
Beautiful! I love the rainbow effect–however you got it. So many pretty colors and just a riot of flowers–stunning!
Gorgeous photo! I’ll try to search for some flowers on the way home. I think I want to try this photo challenge as well! 🙂
I found you on Brent Riggs’ linky tool. I grew up on Long Island and have stayed at the Plaza. I love the gorgeous flowers you captured in your photo.
I love how striking the colors are in this photo. Simply beautiful! 🙂
Beautiful picture!
I love tulips! And I certainly love the rainbow effect you used on this pic too. 🙂
Thanks so much for joining our Crazy Days of Summer photo challenge. I hope you’ll give next week’s theme (refreshing) a try too. Following you now via GFC. Hope you had a great weekend.
P.S. Alicia’s great, isn’t she?
