Easy Tandoori Chicken Recipe

July 31, 2014 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Food and Drink

DreamWorks Pictures’ charming new movie THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY starring Helen Mirren will open August 8. Tandoori Chicken is one of the many recipes that have been inspired by the movie.  Since I love Indian food and we eat a lot of chicken, I thought let’s give it  a try and wow, it was so simple to make and absolutely delicious.

Even my picky 11 year old thought it was yummy too. I will admit that you may not be familiar with Indian spices but if you like to try new things, definitely give this a go. It’s not too spicy and extremely flavorful.

Spices

Spices include garam masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, tumeric, salt and pepper.

Mix spices together along with yogurt and mix everything together.

Tandoori Chicken Mixture

Arrange chicken on a flat pan.  I used Gourmet Grillware  Deep Dish Sizzler.  Place in the oven for 45 minutes.
