Committing to New Year’s Kindness Resolution with Scrubbing Bubbles® Let’s Bubble™ Program #LetsBubble

December 27, 2013 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Entertainment

With January 1 just around the corner, I along with millions will be thinking about my New Year’s resolutions. According to a Scrubbing Bubbles® survey:

  • 89 percent of Americans will make resolutions in 2014, a 5 percent increase from last year.
  • One in four Americans is resolving to connect more with family and friends this year.

But unlike my younger self, I try to make resolutions that I will actually accomplish.  And as I have done in recent years, I am all about improving my health, both spiritually and physically.

Lets Bubble Campaign, Scrubbing Bubble, LetsBubble

Last year, I lost 10 pounds, exercised more and actually finished a book. This year, I want to continue my quest for a healthier lifestyle but also want my life to be more outwardly focused and give back to the community much like the 70 percent of Americans resolving to give back to their communities in 2014.*

This is why I am proud to be involved with the Scrubbing Bubbles®, Let’s Bubble™ program aimed at conducting cleaning acts of kindness. It’s a chance for Americans to help others by cleaning messes big and small in 2014. People across the country will be able to nominate local kitchens and bathrooms most deserving of a clean-up powered by the Scrubbing Bubbles® team. Makes sense right, a brand aimed at cleaning up household messes for over 40 years will be hitting the road to help clean up locations that are most deserving across the country.

This coming New Year’s Eve, I will be hanging out in Times Square with the Scrubbing Bubbles® team to celebrate New Year’s Eve but more importantly officially kick off the Let’s Bubble™ program.

The Scrubbing Bubbles® team will be surprising the crowd with VIP bathrooms before they head off to celebrate in Times Square.  Revelers will be encouraged to write down their 2014 cleaning wish along with telling the Bubbles what town they should clean next in 2014. How cool is that? Such an easy way to give back in such a small way to help a community get clean and get all spruced up.

Don’t worry if you cannot head to Times Square, you can still participate.

How fun to be in Times Square! My New Year’s resolution is to continue to work on being healthier, which means consistency. I am also dedicated to finishing my degree I started last year, so time management is another big goal for me. Happy New Year!

It’s interesting to learn that more people will be making resolutions this year than last year. My health and fitness goals were a bust in 2013. I kinda set myself up for failure. I have planned for more manageable goals in 2014.
