Gingerbread Houses – Wordless Wednesday

December 13, 2011 by NYCSingleMom Filed Under: Single Mom Daily Life

Just My Type" Made by Baked Ideas @Le ParkerMeridien Hote

One of my favorite activities during the Holiday season is take in the Gingerbread House display at Le Parker Meridien Hotel in midtown Manhattan. Just a delightful way to spend a few minutes of the busy holiday season and see the creative bakers of New York’s top restaurants do their thing.

If you are in Midtown Manhattan, check out the Gingerbread wonderland located in the 56th Street atrium of the Le Parker Meridien Hotel lobby as the houses will be on view until  January 6th.

Purchase a ticket for $1 through the concierge desk to vote for your favorite which all the  proceeds benefit City Harvest, the world’s first food rescue organization, dedicated to feeding the city’s hungry men, women and children.

Wow, a gingerbread typewriter! THAT’S amazing…..Something you’ll have to explain to the kids since most won’t ever have seen one.

Amazing gingerbread creations…. thanks for sharing them. I’ll have to check them out during the holidays. Have a scrumptious WW!
