Places to Stay in Hershey, Pennsylvania

Headed to Hershey,  Pennsylvania, definitely consider staying for more than Hersheypark as there are so Fun Things to Do in Hershey, you of course will want to stay over night at one of the official resorts of Hersheypark. During my visit to Hersheypark, I stayed at Hershey Lodge and visited The Hershey Hotel and Hersheypark Camping Resort.

Hershey Lodge

The Hershey Lodge name fits the decor perfectly from the minute you walk through the doors. Throughout the lobby, there were comfy chairs you sink into and can relax and hang out plus the 4 sided fire place is perfect to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or a late night drink.

Right now the Hershey Lodge has all their holiday finery out including an amazing Christmas tree and present filled sled.

I found my hershey kiss adorned sheets on my delightfully comfy bed in my room to be perfect. I stayed in very comfortably sized room that had two double beds. Certainly big enough for a family of four.

The Hershey Lodge has so many features that is sure to please the entire family including swimming pools, a health and fitness center, basketball and tennis courts, a game room, 18-hole miniature golf course and more!

Hershey Water Works

And I have to mention that the 30,000 square Hershey Water Works features Twizzlers Twists water slides and Reese’s Water Walk. Your kids will have a jolly good rancher time splashing around and don’t worry, there are lifeguards on staff during the entire time it’s open.

No need to worry about food options. You pick up coffee or breakfast (they also serve sandwiches) at the Cocoa Beanery.  Lunch and dinner options include The Bears’ Den  and Hershey Grill. Please  indulge in the Smore’s  French Toast for breakfast, you will walk away blissfully happy.

Of course, there are Hershey chocolate treats for guests in their room!! Visit hersheylodge.com to check out all the features of the hotel and the featured packages. And as a guest of the Hershey Lodge,  you can visit the Spa at The Hotel Hershey. Additional VIP benefits  come standard with your stay, with up to $150 in savings for a family of four, plus convenient services and exclusive offerings designed to make your stay as sweet as possible.

The Hotel Hershey

The history of the building of The Hotel Hershey has it’s origins in Hershey’s plan to put the unemployed local men to work in the “Great Building Campaign” during the Great Depression.

The Fountain Lobby design  and much of the hotel’s interior design was inspired by Milton Hershey’s love of Cuba.  You can definitely see how distinctive the hotel design from it’s sister hotel, the Hershey Lodge.

The Iberian Cocktail Lounge offers guests the resort’s signature chocolate cocktails all to be sipped in front of the  grand fireplace.

While at hotel, enjoy dining at  The Circular.  The idea of the circular design was also Milton Hershey’s. As a frequent traveler, he wanted to ensure every guest had a good view.

The Hotel Hershey is located on hilltop with grounds that include fountains, gardens and reflection pools making your stay all the more enjoyable.

Hotel guests have access to an indoor and outdoor pools, sports complex, 18-hole putting course, fitness center, and more! Additional VIP benefits  come standard with your stay, with up to $150 in savings for a family of four, plus convenient services and exclusive offerings designed to make your stay as sweet as possible.

Do not miss out taking advantage of The Spa at Hotel Hershey which is a full-service, 40,000-square-foot, European-style Spa. I totally enjoyed my Chocolate Pedicure.

Visit hotelhershey.com for more information on all the accommodations, dining and hotel packages.

Hersheypark Camping Resort

If you are into camping and the great outdoors, then Hersheypark Camping Resort offers visitors the convenience and benefits of staying at an Official Resort of Hersheypark.
