February is African American History Month. For generations of women, these African American legends helped pave the way to self-acceptance by wearing their hair with the swagger of true glamour icons. Who doesn’t love Hello Kitty? I know I do and for me, I still love collecting all things Hello Kitty. And of course, I can not resist carrying on the tradition for my daughter.

When I saw these Hello Kitty Silver Mary Jane Shoes at Target, I had to have them for my daughter. And she LOVES them and can’ t wait to wear them.

Who knew shopping for shoes at Target would end up a success. I found these two wedge platform shoes at my local Target. I love them because one, they were affordable (under $30) and comfortable (Yes, comfortable!!)  I did buy the shoes a half size larger than I normally wear to achieve the comfort level I needed to walk in New York City.
