Ragu recently launched “Give ‘Em Ragu,” a new smartphone app as part of their “A Long Day of Childhood” ad campaign. Kids have a lot going on in their daily lives as evidenced by one of my favorite Ragu commercials ( “A boy walking in on his parents”.)
The new Give ‘Em Ragu app allows parents to upload photos and videos via Facebook, iTunes and Android, write a “customized” jingle that in turn creates a personalized Ragú promo spot. Too cool, right, but it’s also super simple, easy and fun to do and who doesn’t want their kid’s photos turned into a video with music.
This is not your ordinary Ragu campaign which I can appreciate, it’s cheerful, lighthearted and best of all allows parents and kids the opportunity to have a lot fun that plays on the “Long Day of Childhood” theme.
I made a quick video using recent photos of my daughter in various settings from having to lug a Christmas tree to doing homework.
