2011 was a good year for celebrity interviews. For the record, I pinch myself everytime, I get invited to one of these events.

This year, I interviewed Angie Harmon, Jessica Alba, Ivanka Trump, Sherri Shephard, Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester, Chris O’Donnell, Hugh Jackman, Denise Jonas, Steve Carell, Jordana Beatty (Star of Judy Moody, Megan McDonald (Judy Moody author) and Bethenny Frankel.

Here are my top 5 interviews from 2011:

Hugh Jackman – Gracious, funny, self-depracating, honest about giving out adoption advice and of course, pretty darn handsome.
Ivanka Trump – I may dislike her Dad, but I like Ivanka. Talk about skipping a generation. She was engaging, totally not snooty, and lovely to interview. And darn if her skin is not amazing.
Denise Jonas - Mom to the Jonas Brothers (Nick, Joe and Kevin) was just a delight, totally well-grounded and reeallly nice.
Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester – This interview was basically conducted by our kids so I am cheating on this one but both young women were extremely patient and nice with the kids especially since they were on a major press tour for Monte Carlo.
Vanessa Williams – This was short but oh so worth every minute. If not for her publicist watching the clock,I would have more time.

Honorable mentions go to Steve Carell for Crazy, Stupid Love and Zookeeper Cast (Kevin James, Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb.)
