The Amazing Max and The Box of Interesting Things Review
The Amazing Max and The Box of Interesting Things is an interactive, high energy magic show perfect for kids of all ages.
Your kids will be memorized as objects appear out of thin air and magical miracles are performed inches from spectators’ faces. The Amazing Max’s outsized personality, out of control nature and energy is what makes the show, comedic talents and of course his bag of magid tricks really engages the kids. What really works and adds to the show is the audience participation. The Amazing Max chooses members of the audience to participate in almost every trick which makes the show because you never know how a child will react or what they will say.
There is no assigned seating which works well and because of the layout of the theatre, there is no bad seat in the house if you arrive late, no worries. The kids do get invited to sit on the rug in the front, all the better to see the “tricks.”
While I thought this was a fun show and my daughter liked it, I do have to mention that I think that the $29.50 a ticket price is a tad steep. For a family of four that is $118 which is my opinion is a lot for a show that lasts less than an hour.
