Making Memories with Mary Poppins and Disney Parks
Disney World is a magical place filled with wonderful memories. “I will always remember my trip to Disney World” is my daughter’s response when asked about her trip to Disney World. Anytime, we can experience Disney Parks or anything Disney, I jump at the chance.
Recently, we experienced making Disney Memories right on 42nd Street with a behind the scenes tour of the historic New Amsterdam Theatre where Mary Poppins is currently playing. From being able to walk where the Mary Poppins cast performs every night to wearing The Lion King headresses, to sitting in Ariel’s bathtub to wearing Mary Poppins’ hat, the tour was another Disney Magical Memories my daughter will never forget.
The middle of the day had us having a once in a lifetime virtual reality interactive experience where my daughter “interacted” with Snow White blowing her kisses but the best part was seeing their image on a 60 -foot digital screen in the heart of Times Square.
We ended the evening seeing Mary Poppins. My daughter and her friend thoroughly enjoyed the show. Of course, what’s not to love, the music, the set and Mary Poppins soaring through the air, it was the perfect end to the day.
