During my daughter’s infant and toddler years, Zutano was one of my favorite lines. So I was excited to be able check out Zutano’s showroom here in New York. After starting their company in the very showroom (it’s actually an apartment in a brownstone) I visited, the owners,Michael and Uli Belenky moved their quickly growing operations to Vermont.
What I love about Zutano’s clothes is the sense of color and whimsy they bring to you and your child’s life. Not only do they have the cutest, well-made, well-designed and thoughtful clothes line for kids, it is such a family-oriented company.
You hear companies tout their family friendly culture but Zutano actually encourages their employees to bring their children to the office for their first year. Fantastic perk right, and all that positive energy goes into the production of the clothing.
I am a big fan of natural products and Zutano is thoughtful in sourcing the softest cottons for each new product. And naturally, they also carry an organic line!
