Schleich Bayala World of Fantasy - Sireel and Solfur

So you weren’t invited to the English Royal Wedding of Prince William and his new bride Catherine, well  you’re in luck because there’s a wedding taking place in Schleich’s Fantasy World of Bayala where the elves, Sureel and Solfur, are tying the knot.

This bride and groom are taking their vows in an Elf Wedding Scenery Pack coming out this month on store shelves; this scenery pack is one of six new scenery packs by Schleich, which showcase Schleich animals and other figurines. All of the new scenery packs have instant play appeal and present the perfect introduction to Schleich – one of the few true ‘world’ toys on the market today, requiring no instructions and understood and enjoyed by children from almost any country or culture.

I was introduced to Schleich products at a recent Timetoplaymag.com event introducing new Spring and Summer toys. Well apparently, I was the only writer at the event who had never heard of Schleich. Enough about my cluelessness, I was super impressed wit h the quality and  realistic look of all their figures.

Gee, I wish I had discovered them earlier because when my daughter opened the wedding scenery box, she was thrilled to death. I can so see the creative play aspect of having a Schleich product and trust me, I love the fact that it does provide a creative outlet and let’s my daughter’s imagination run free. My daughter has already made up stories about how the bride and groom, Sureel and Solfur met. I  love the attention to detail of the main characters, plus they really are beautiful and represent the whole notion of the fantasy elf and each pack provides a background to set the scene.

I have a number of May and June birthday parties and the Schleich Scenery Packs is going to make the  perfect birthday . Of course, with summer coming up, this scenery packs, it’s a great alternative or at least  interim break from television and video games. Schleich available for sale at Toys R Us, Target, Online retailers and specialty stores.
