My daughter was invited to her first disco birthday party by one of her classmates at Poisson Rouge, a club located in the Village.

Here she is outside Poisson Rouge which really is a club. I have been in there for other events so I know it’s pretty cool. What a cool birthday party, she definitely was able to experience the club vibe albeit without the drugs and alcohol.
The place was huge with a real DJ playing the tunes. She had a great time dancing to all the latest hits, with all her friends from school. And why aren’t there pictures of her dancing up a storm? Because it was a DROP OFF birthday party, my favorite kind of party.
This is why I love living in New York, the parties.
