36 Hour Burger and $625 Modernist Cuisine Cookbook by Nathan Myhrvoid
Have 36 hours and 6 people? Then you can make this supposedly incredible burger cooked up by Nathan Myhrvoid who is coming out with a $625 Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking” cookbook on March 14.
Nathan Myhrvoid is a former Microsoft executive. Nice to see he is using his Microsoft millions for the greater good. The book compiles the physics behind how we prepare food and consists of six volumes, 2,438 pages and weighs close to 50 pounds.
Let’s all say it together, ”nerd.” One chapter is called Transglutaminase Gels, huh. What kills me is that plenty of people will buy this book, although I do admit, I am curious if I could talk 6 friends to spend 36 hours to make a burger.
