When visiting Orlando, one is usually pointed to staying at a Disney World property. That said, when planning a trip to Orlando, in addition to thinking about Disney World properties, you should  consider two properties that offer world-class amenities, are still close to the Magic Kingdom and are two of the world’s most recognizable hotel names, the Waldorf Astoria and Hilton Hotels.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando brings a new brand of luxury to Orlando. The  Waldorf Astoria Orlando is the first Waldorf Astoria hotel to be built since the legendary original in New York City. The hotel  features 498 deluxe guest rooms (and 170 exquisite suites) with sweeping vistas of Disney’s vacation kingdom and the Bonnet Creek nature preserve.

The hotel infuses the timeless Jazz Age-elegance of The Waldorf-Astoria in New York City, with the vibrant and modern ambiance of tropical Florida.  An impeccable level of guest service is a nod to the original Waldorf, the hotel that set the standard for urbane sophistication.

Outdoor facilities bring a Florida touch, including a formal pool lined with chic private cabanas, and an award-winning Rees Jones-designed golf course. And of course, there is the world-class Waldorf Astoria Spa by Guerlain® offers customized treatments and products from the famed Parisian skin care and fragrance company where you can relax from your day’s activities.

Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, with  stellar views of Disney theme parks, is a triumph of contemporary design and comfort and transcends the traditional hotel experience with innovative dining options, memorable lounges, and world-class recreation, including a three-acre lagoon-style pool with a lazy river and water speed slide.  And the 1,001 elegantly-appointed guest rooms and suites are part of the attraction, each featuring modern amenities and the signature Hilton Serenity Bed.

And for families, a recreation team provides family activities throughout the day and evening, including “Dive-In Movies” poolside.

In addition to the views of Walt Disney World, there are postcard-perfect vistas of the pool “lagoon,” Waldorf Astoria Golf Club and the Bonnet Creek nature preserve.

Visit Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek or Waldorf Astoria Orlando,  for more information and upcoming Holiday specials.
