Getting Gorgeous Event at Blogher10
During BlogHer10, I was invited to the Getting Gorgeous event hosted by Vera Sweeney and Audrey McClelland and it was as advertised all about getting gorgeous. Vera and Audrey really know how to put on an event. There were an incredible array of amazing sponsors providing 350 bloggers with information on the latest products and happily we were provided with some samples from some of the sponsors.
Here were my favorites:

They generously gave each blogger their choice from one of 4 pieces. I chose the silver necklace (not pictured below) which I wore to the Nate Berkus party. Miraclebody Jeans – From the same company that brought you the Miracle swimsuit, has now branched out into jeans and leggings. They did not have my size so I will have to wait to find out later if they make you “look 10 pounds lighter in 10 seconds.” Stay tuned. But I was jealous because everyone that I saw that tried them on looked fabulous.

K-Mart Fall Fashion – Yes, K-Mart. I was actually impressed at the coolness and chicness of the Fall 2010 line. Now mind you, I did not try anything on and not sure if it’s me but it’s definitely the most interesting stuff I have seen come out the store in quite some time. What impressed me the most were the accessories. Between the rings, watches and necklaces, I wasn’t sure which one was the most appealing and of course, it was affordable and no one has to know it’s from K-Mart.

Tide Swash – Is it possible that Proctor and Gamble has come out with the greatest invention since sliced bread? I think, they might have. Want to get rid of wrinkles, then Swash is for you. Just spray it over your wrinkled item, smooth/pat the item and voila, no more wrinkles. This is such a great travel necessity in my book.
Powermat, a super cool product in which you can charge up to three of your favorite devices (e.g. blackberry, iPod, iphone) and it’s all wireless. Woo hoo. My entire apartment is one big wire. This one I am most excited about.
