NYC Single Mom’s Top Five Guilty Pleasures

Admit it, you have at least one guilty pleasure.

Here are my top five guilty pleasures.

1.Gossip sites

I can’t help myself, it keeps my mind off my own problems and the economy. Yes, I am part of the problem  not the solution but I don’t care.

My two favorites are www.tmz.com and www.perezhilton.com. And if you must really know, I love watching TMZ the show on Fox.

2.Action Pictures

Mindless drivel, car crashes, bad acting, unbelievable plot, what’s not to  like. Let’s face it, summer movies are not meant to make you think. It’s too hot to think.

3.Entourage

The season premiere is this Sunday and I have missed the boys. Sure it’s sexist, homophophic, puerile, lots of  cursing and meaningless sex, but it sure is fun and provides us with at least one great line every week.  Still love you Jeremy, mercury poison scandal or not.

4.Lottery tickets

Yes, I know. My chances of winning are a gazillion to one but there is something quite exhilarating about fantasizing how I would spend the money if I won.

5.Target.com

I just love the online site, I spend hours on it and eventually I buy stuff, I probably don’t need.
